2 Deep Thoughts:
I needed to hear this today. I don't typically find myself longing for material things, status or earthy crowns...but I have been craving an "escape" lately. Dreaming of a relaxing vacation, an escape from ordinary life. I get lost in thoughts of what it would be like to be able to work less (or not at all), have more time with Zac and not be praying to break even each month. This passage reminded me that all I need, He can provide for me. Everything else will pass away. If I were in any other position, I might not need to rely so much on Him. Lord, help me to remember this when my alarm goes off at 5 tomorrow!
ME TOO! Amen, I get encouraged and forget, I need to remember. This week and last week I have been spending time in prayer over something very specific and it has been helping with this roller coaster some.
